Abraham Lincoln Tomato
The Abraham Lincoln Tomato was originally released in 1923 by the H.W. Buckbee Seed Company of Rockford, Illinois. Eventually this tomato variety became associated with the R.H. Shumway Seed Company. The Shumway Seed Company described this tomato as a solid fleshed, dark red tomato with a good tomato flavor. The Tomatoes ranged in size from about one pound, but tomatoes up to three pounds were reported among Abraham Lincoln Tomatoes. The vigorous indeterminate vines often produce up until the time of the first frost and the tomatoes ripen about 90 days after transplant. Abraham Lincoln Tomatoes are regular tomato leafed and prefer full sun to partial shade. Abraham Lincoln Tomatoes are among the favorites of many seed savers and should not be confused with the Tomato variety known as "Abe Lincoln", which is not the same variety.

selection of the month Black Krim Tomato Seeds This Russian tomato variety is always one of our top selling varieties of vegetable seeds and hails from the Isle of Krim in the Black Sea to the south of the Republic of Ukraine. Black Tomatoes have been our best selling vegetable seeds for us this year and this one is our best Black Tomatoes! This tomato variety is a medium large sized maroon beefsteak with green shoulders and an intense, unique taste! Ideal for slicing, salads and more. Due to their natural salty taste, sliced Black Krims do not require salting and only a hint of pepper, which makes them an ideal tomato variety for your tomato patch if you can not have salt in your diet. Indeterminate. 70-75 days to maturity.
