The Hungarian Sweet Wax Pepper is a hard to find Hungarian Sweet Pepper variety similiar to the variety known as the Feherozon Pepper. The Hungarian Sweet Wax Pepper was originally sourced in Hungary by Dr. Terry Berke of the Asian Vegetable Research Center and was later introduced to the public by Southern Exposure Seed Exchange in 1999. This lovely Hungarian Sweet Pepper is especially suited for northern pepper gardeners and matures very early.

The Hungarian Sweet Wax Pepper produces an abundance of sweet, tasty 2 X 4 inch blocky, pointed white peppers that mature to a lovely red. This Greek Pepper variety commonly found in pizzerias, salad bars and sandwich shops in a pickled form.
